The Altar Guild is responsible for the care of the worship space, its furnishings and all its appointments.
The Altar Guild serves:

- By seeing that the paraments and linens are put out, cleaned, stored appropriately and repaired if necessary;
- By setting up, thoroughly cleaning and putting away the sacremental vessels;
- By caring for the vestments of the clergy and lay assistants;
- By making sure all preparations are made for each service and taking care of whatever needs to be done after the service;
- By periodically washing the Altar Servers' garments;
- By ordering needed supplies - wine, wafers, candles and other special seasonal supplies; and
- By attending monthly meetings for devotions, prayer and discussion to insure all needs have been considered.
