History

Our childcare ministry started in the fall of 1962 with a kindergarten class that met in what was Luther Hall, now replaced by the Frank E. Michel Building in 2007. Once the educational building opened in 1966, we expanded to offer a class of twenty in kindergarten and one class of twenty four-year-olds. The classes were half-day programs.

In 1982, we added an Extended Care Program to serve the local elementary school students as well as Faith students. A summer camp program was started in 1985. The two room educational building was removed in 1986 and replaced with a seven room educational wing. Faith Lutheran School currently serves 51 four-year-old children and 45 three-year-old students plus 80 school-age-after-school children and 115 summer campers.

We expanded our ministry to serve toddlers in January 1999 in the renovated medical building at 301 Ebbtide Drive. Our family of Faith grew when we added 24 one-year-old children and 44 two-year-old children to the school.

Faith Lutheran School is licensed by the County of Palm Beach and the State of Florida and is currently accredited by  National Lutheran School Accreditation.
